IEEE 802.3az Plugfest -- Energy Efficient Ethernet

The Energy Efficient Ethernet Subcommittee will be conducting a plugfest of Energy Efficient Enabled PHYs on April 20-23, 2010 in Durham, NH. This interoperability event is designed to look at early interoperability between all PHY types that support EEE operation. The Subcommittee is currently working on developing the test plan and is looking for additional participation.

Data Center Bridging Plugfest

May 17 – 21, 2010

The Ethernet Alliance Data Center Sub-committee invites all EA members to participate in the Data Center Bridging plugfest. The event is scheduled for the week of May 17th, 2010 and will be held at UNH-IOL in Durham, NH. This plugfest targets interoperability testing of Ethernet standards being developed by IEEE Data Center Bridging task force that includes projects such as IEEE 802.1Qbb and IEEE 802.1Qaz. The plugfest will perform testing across broad vendor community and will exercise DCB features across multiple applications such as FCoE, iSCSI, and latency sensitive applications.
